Government Calls for Workplaces to Implement WFH During 43rd ASEAN Summit

The Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency (Nakertransgi) issued Circular Letter Number E-0021/SE/2023 on the Implementation of Work from Home (WFH) for Private Companies, BUMN and BUMD in Jakarta.

Each company can adjust its own implementation of the combination of WFH and Work From Office (WFO)

This circular letter issuance aims to smoothen the holding of the upcoming 43rd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta which falls from September 4 to 7, 2023.

Jakarta Nakertransgi Agency Head, Hari Nugroho said companies were urged to carry out work through a combination of working from home and working in the office by adjusting the nature and type of work during the preparation and holding period of the ASEAN Summit.

"Each company can adjust its own implementation of the combination of WFH and Work From Office (WFO), thus economic activity can continue and the ASEAN Summit can also run without a hitch,' he expressed, Thursday (8/31).

He explained the Jakarta Provincial Government would apply traffic diversion by opening and closing roads in the ASEAN Summit venues such as hotels and high-level meeting places.

"Public transportation in Jakarta is still operating as usual, such as MRT, LRT, and Transjakarta," he expressed.

As for the information, the Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) and the Polda Metro Jaya's Traffic Directorate will apply traffic diversion on 29 roads during the ASEAN Summit.

Those 29 roads are the route that the country's delegates will take from their accommodation to the six event locations. They are Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan MH Thamrin, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Jalan HR Rasuna Said, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto, Jalan Galunggung, Jalan RM Margono Djojohadikoesoemo, Jalan KH Mas Mansyur.

Then Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Timur V, Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Timur II, Jalan Karet Pasa Baru Timur III, Jalan Prof Dr Satrio Sisi Barat, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Jalan Wahid Hasyim, Jalan Gerbang Pemuda.

Also Jalan Pintu Satu Senayan, Jalan Asia Afrika, Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Jalan Pattimura, Jalan Trunojoyo, Jalan Gunawarman, Jalan Majapahit, Jalan Ir Juanda, Jalan Veteran III, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Lingkar Mega Kuningan, Jalan Lingkar SCBD, and Jalan Setia Budi Tengah.
